#trustdentistryagain: why we are reimagining the dental experience

Many people avoid dentists for years. Maybe it’s a bill that feels too daunting to ask questions about. Or the sense that your overall health wasn’t included in the picture.

We are developing a comprehensive oral health assessment model that connects systemic health, lifestyle choices, and oral symptoms. This will help patients gain a clearer understanding of their overall health and how to maintain it.

While modern dentistry has made significant advances, it often acts only after problems have arisen.

We believe it’s time for a paradigm shift: moving from reactive treatment to preventative, integrated care that connects oral health to overall wellbeing. This doesn’t mean ignoring cavities or gum health; it means viewing the mouth as a gateway to the entire body.

I asked our founders (Dr. Mark Bowes and Mrs Helen Bowes) what it means to trust dentistry again.

“To trust dentistry again is to believe that your health matters before you’re in pain and that your dentist sees more than your teeth. It’s about restoring faith In the care, the environment, and the intention behind it all. That dentistry can be something you feel good walking into.”

Our vision sees trust as a two-way relationship: patients should trust their practitioners, and practitioners should trust the systems they rely on, feeling supported, balanced, and empowered to deliver the care they envision.

If you’ve ever delayed an appointment because you were scared, overwhelmed, or simply couldn’t face it, we see you.

If you’re a practitioner wondering whether this work can still be sustainable and joyful, we see you too.

I’m delighted to share that the renovation of #trustdentistry is now officially underway. The countdown to the official opening of our new practice has begun. Yay!

See you next time and take care.
